Body question

Traded in the 07 for a new sterling grey. My job requires me to travel everywhere so the first trip I take it on I run into a massive hail storm ( would upload pics but all you see is the sky reflection). Already made a claim with the insurance agency just have to wait till I get back home. Last night I am at a sports bar watching the fight and I come out to find that my car has been hit. I've never made any type of claim ever or body damage or anything related to that. If the insurance company gives me so much am I free to pick any bumper I want or am I restricted to what they feel is best. Thanks in advance

Such bum luck. What generally will happen is you'll have a shop get an estimate for parts. They will run the estimate using ford parts. The insurance company cuts a check for that amount to the shop less your deductible.

If you can find another bumper in that range you should be okay. I did this when my 2002 GT got hit. Replaced the bumper with a 99/01 Cobra bumper and R splitter.

If it's just those marks in the painted section there, they'll write the bumper for repair, not replacement.
