Blowout!

I had my first blowout in years today. I bought my 2014 GT base in mid Feb and its got a tad over 5k miles. Thankfully it didnt delaminate and damage any bodywork. Road hazard was about the only thing I didnt spring for, lol. Looks like I hit something at the outside edge of the tread and it split it all the way up the sidewall. It was the driver's side rear tire. Bummer but at least I have a Tirerack warehouse in my city...

But it was actually quite easy to control the car. Especially since i was going about 72 mph at the time. My old Bmw 320i blew a rear on a gravel road and that was an experience. But on the mustang, I didnt even realize the loud noise was a blowout until the TPM sensor lit up. It was fun to learn where all the spare and jack stuff was in the dark, lol. Oh well...
