Blinker question

On the mustang when you go to hit your blinker, can you just tap up or down and have it blink three times or so instead of having to push it all the way up or down? I am so used to that with my VW, and any vehicle that doesn't have it throws me off.

I noticed a slight difference from my 05, seems like I have to click twice to get it to blink in the 11 but maybe it will loosen over time.

If you hold it down it will light up all the lights, so yes. You do not need to push it all the way up or down to function.

I think the answer to his specific question is no.... it doesn't have the 'tap to blink three times' feature.

And I'm glad. Never appreciated that "feature"

Aw, I was kinda hoping the Mustang would have it. Oh, well. I've been driven by just holding it there to blink a few times so it isn't a big deal. It's just that my cousin's VW had it and it was, I guess, convenient.

It is kinda convenient to just tap it, but yeah, the Mustangs don't have it. Of course it does have the sequential LEDs, and while I haven't been able to check I presume it goes through at least one cycle of that.

Just checked it out with a mirror LOL!!!
Very fast tap of the turnsignal stalk, only one of the three rear lights will come on. Medium tap, i can make two of the three lights come on. To make all three lights come on you have to hold down the turnsignal stalk long enough to hear the click. If any of this makes sense LOL!!!

In other words, you do have to hold it down for it to do the turn signal animation! It's a manual too! How retro.

Yes. You have to hold down the stalk long enough to hear the (second) click sound from the dash. When you hear the second click, all three lights have flashed.

Your right Jerry

and MKPony is too
