Black/Ebony
Just noticed that the 2011 color is Ebony. Not sure why Ford would think black needed a fancy name... so I'm wondering if there's a difference, or is the 2011 the same color as the 2010 black...

It is still the same paint code (UA) and is just a different name. It's been known as Ebony on other Ford vehicles for a few years now, so Ford is likely just trying to be consistent across models and not have multiple names for the same paint code.

Yep, Ebony is Black and still carries the same UA color/paint code. I'm sure Ford did this to be politically correct in this world, making sure not to step on anybody's toes.
I'm wondering if Ford will soon be changing their name for its "white" to something like "Snow"... after all, one should be politically correct for EVERYONE!

Hopefully they just leave the beautiful black alone. As I mentioned in another post, tuxedo is very 'busy'. My Taurus is TB, and I wouldn't buy it again.

Sorry, there is just something kinda cheap looking about non-metallic paint. There's a reason its standard on more expensive cars and metallic costs extra. Maybe a tri-coat treatment would help. Paint in general is just so bad these days.
