Best exhaust set up with O/R xpipe

Hmm. From what I have found, the Bassani Axlebacks ($450) plus the Xpipe ($300) is about $170 bucks less than going with the full Catback set up.
$170 isn't much compared to the price of an eventual full mufflers, midpipe, and headers system.
However, is $170 really worth replacing the pipes (and dropping resonators) between the xpipe and the mufflers? Any justifiable sound/performance difference?

I got the axle back and O/R X and plan on getting some over axle pipes from heart throb.
Best of both worlds this way.
Bassani wants too much for the catback, so I'm making my own.

True. I think what I am going to do is get the Bassani catback now which includes the xpipe. And then later on add their long tube headers and hiflow cats (or hopefully they have some OR delete tubes like for the 05-10).
