Bassani Xhaust prototype

here is a short video of my car at Bassani Xhaust. They have gotten the mufflers done from the axle back, they will have my car for 1 more week. there working on the resonator delete and the x pipe. i will update you guys when i get more sound clips. thanks for looking

OK, that's getting there. Don't let me down Bassani. That almost sounds like the Borla Stingers though. We'll have to hear it out on the street to get a better idea, but I'm thinking this is going to be the exhaust that makes me fall in love with the new Coyote. I don't think I want to hear any more, as it may make me MORE depressed.

I am not a fan of the popping but that's pretty minimal and it sounds pretty incredible. I am excited to hear the different exhaust options for this car!

well today they are working on the resonator delete pipes and the x pipe. i should get my car back next week. i will keep you guys posted

Nice. So far, the Bassani system sounds best, IMO. I can't wait to hear the Borla S-type and ATAK systems!

After hearing these and the Corsas, I'm really anxious to hear Borla's too! Really digging the deep tone from the Bassanis.

I love Bassani exhausts for Mustangs. They have a similar chambered wail that Flowmasters have, but sound less hollow and deeper. They're like a combination of Flowmaster chambered wail, Borla growl and Borla build quality. I'm really scared for the X-pipe vid. I think it's going to be the vid that makes me finally fall in love with the new 5.0, and that's something I really don't want to happen now!

Awesome! In 1998 they used my Cobra for test fitting there cat back system, what a difference it made in the sound. And the best part is you get to keep it for free.

it was supposed to take 1 week. but its gonna take about 2. they needed to make all new jigs for the exhaust. im not worried because i know my car will sound bad *** when completed. this set will be a full cat back 3 inch. after this one is done they will be building a long tube header bacj set. the best thing in they said i can sell the first set. so i will keep you guys informed.

Curious how the drone will be - I currently drive a '10 GT, had Bassani race mufflers put on it first (some moderate drone around 2k rpm, just enough to get annoying at times) and then added Bassani catted X midpipe. Sounds glorious, but the drone is enough to be aggravating yet tolerable :P
