Barton bracket install

Just installed the Barton bracket (kept stock shifter). Pre install: I didn't have transmission problems and i didn't have any problems with the feel of the shifter while shifting, I did miss 3rd gear a few times during spirited driving. For the install: i had the tools, time, and followed the Barton directions (also watched the YouTube vid), and went for a test drive. I added pics of stock bracket. Post install: sound and feel is more mechanical, slight increase in push back from shifter, and I didn't miss 3rd gear (keeping mind it's my 1st drive with the bracket). Overall the shifter feels sturdier, mechanical, and more pronounced mech noise...I like it.

How did you do it? Did you have access to a lift or did you do it on jack stands? My situation will be similar but I don't have the car yet so I have missed zero shifts. :-) It seems like an easy enough mod to do if you have the room to do it...

2 jack stands and 2 floor jacks. Not much room so everything was done from one side of car.

Update: shifting is defined, sound of transmission working is calming, and for some reason my gt500 exhaust seems to sound through the interior more. Definitely a well worth investment...the sound of the exhaust and trans singing together makes my V8 stang pulse with testosterone :-)
