Im 6 feet tall and when I tried to sit on the passenger side my knees were pressed against the glove box. So for his girlfriend its just enough space.

Ok, that's what I figured even though the pic made it look like it wouldn't be that bad. My better half is 5'2" so maybe it wouldn't be so bad. My 3 yr old is front facing now, but my 10 month old is still rear facing and we're going to be moving up from the infant carrier to a dedicated car seat soon, so starting to look at options.

Heres some more pictures in my 2010 Mustang GT. Theres just enough room for my girlfriend sitting in front of the infant car seat. And me sitting in front of the Graco Contenter, I would like a little more room but its totally manageable even when shifting gears.

My Height : 6 feet
Girlfriend : 5' 2"

All this week I've been doing the baby hauling in my 2014 GT, and it sucks. I'm really wishing I got a Focus ST now. I need a 4-door.
I have a 10 year old and a 4 year old. When my 10 year old was still tiny, I bought a new 13 Focus ST and you're correct- IT'S AWESOME when it comes to kids and car seats (as far as having a "fun car" is concerned. Also the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned-6 years, 221k miles, tuned for 118k, less than $1k spent on "repairs!!" I just got the Mustang a few months ago and while yes, it's possible to get a booster seat back there for my 4 year old, it was 1,000% easier in the Focus! It doesn't matter that much because he won't be in a booster that much longer and he can essentially put himself in it on his own at this point. If I'm honest though, if I had an infant and could only have 1 car...if probably go for a Focus RS over the Mustang lol.

EDIT: I was looking for car seat and info, and I didn't realize this was an 8 year old post lol.

If the thread topic is relevant? it doesn't matter if the thread/post is old or not.. Therefore, you did the right thing by searching the sub-forums, rather than start up an entire new thread..
Besides, the last thread activity was just under one year ago anyhow. Meanwhile, welcome aboard.

Total of 4 posts revived this thread just barely one year ago, while another posted under 2 months short of one year ago, followed by 3 more, including yourself who just recently posted..

This in my opinion still counts as an active thread, despite originally submitted over 7 years ago. That being said, the purpose behind the search function menu was obviously put in place and intended for a very good reason.
