Auto Transmission stuck in gear
I just bought a used 2013 Mustang GT. It has 24,000 miles on it. Today it got stuck in either 3rd or 4th gear, its an auto transmission so I don't know what gear exactly.
I tried putting it in shift mode, nothing happened. Pulled over put it in park and back into gear, nothing happen. Doing that, the transmission was hitting very hard moving from park to drive. I turned the car off and then back on and the problem went away. Is this something I should be concerned about? I have never owned an auto so not sure if this happens from time to time.

Might sound crazy but you might want to check your battery volts. This happened to me once when I had a dead battery, jumped it and then it acted like that while I drove around my block. Parked my car and threw the battery on charge then all was good.
I bet if you google it you'll find a few threads about it on SVT.

Agree, that same thing happened to my Grand Xherokee last year after the battery died. I cleared the CEL that came up and restarted. Was good to go
