Delivery (sales) Stats:
Mustang August 2012 Deliveries (actual sales): 6,387 +12 (Pr Ye)

Compared to Competition:
Camaro sold 6,675 units in August 2012 -2 (Pr Ye).
Challenger sold 3,311 units in August 2012 +5 (Pr Ye).

Bummer. Gt500 snout only beat Camaro for what? 2 months?

Sales are still up. Hopefully they'll continue that trend the rest of the year.

Less than 300 cars is far from a blowout by any means.

Not to mention, Mustang (and Challenger) sales went up compared to last year, while Camaro sales went down. That's probably the single biggest piece of info to take away. Could it be that Camaro sales are slumping and the other pony cars are picking up the slack?

It'll be interesting to see how the '14MY does in terms of sales. I suspect many will hold out to see what the '15MY looks like. If the '15 is a looker, expect the last of the S197s to tank.......if not, then '14 sales could make a last minute rally

There are always people who don't like the new look and will take advantage of the last year before redesign.
