Anyone running 255/45/18 and 285/40/18 on a lowered Track Pack GT?

I'm going to lower my GT this weekend on Steeda Ultralights and was wondering if anyone is running that wheel/tire setup and if the have any clearance issues with the wheel wells, tires rubbing, etc. Rims are 9.0" up front and 10.5" in back.

While I don't have the setup you're asking about, I have 255/35/20 out front on an 8.5 wheel and lowered and they are perfectly fine, no rubbing. You should be more than fine.

I'm running Ultralites with 19×9, 19×10. No rubbing at all. Actually, most cars are only getting about 1"drop in the rear, and about 1-1/4" in front with ultralites. So with 18"rims you will be fine.

I'm running Hotchkis Sport springs which have a lower drop with those tire sizes and have never had an issue.

This was the GT500 stock rear 285/40/18 tires on 2010 GT500 convertible wheels on the front, with 305/40/18 tires on the back, car lowered on Steeda Sport springs:

These aren't 18's but might help show some width and height. I am running 275/35/20 all the way around. This is a 1.5" drop on a track pack GT with Roush suspension mods.

Sweet looking ride ShaneyUSA. After seeing the width of your tires I decided that 285's are the width I want for the rear tires. Thanks for the pics.
