Clutch issues? No. Clunky 1-2 shift after "Skip Shift" has been engaged? Yes, dammit.

NEVER had a single problem with the clutch 9k miles. driving harder than 99 percent of you. no track racing though. powershifting, revving the hell out of it.

5K miles so far and zero clutch problems. Just the clunky low-gear shift issues like everybody else.

I have about 5,000 miles and I am moderately hard on it - no clutch problems at all.

no issues for me (July build), I think the clutch problems were associated with stangs built before April 2010

Is this really that serious a problem? I wanted to buy a 2011, but I'm starting to have some doubts..

Thanks!
750 miles and flawless. My car was built on 10/10/10.

Just hit 300 miles and only have the rough 1-2 when cold...and I swear the clutch is stiffer than in previous GTs I have test driven months back.

5500 miles over 6 month on a mid-April build car, and it's all good.

Built in late May. Delivered on 7/2/2010. No problems, except stiff in cold weather, till the fluid warms up. Doesn't take long here, but desert mornings can be cold.

I have 7200 on my GT and I don't think I have any clutch problems (I say I don't think so because I haven't driven a manual for over 10 years so I'm not sure exactly what to look for).

My only gripe is when it is real cold, moving into 1st can be clunky. Not real smooth. If I rev up over 3k, then my shifts are smooth like butter.

Sometimes 1st and 2nd won't go int unless you force it in. It isn't due to the skip-shift feature, because people with it eliminated and V6 drivers (myself) also have this issue.

It lurches/bucks going into 2nd unless you slip the clutch longer than you should.
