without the Boss written on top. I like it but feel kind of wierd putting it on and knowing my car is not a Boss..I actually like the stock 5.0 cover so can i by pass this particlur intake and sub it with something else?

The "Boss" is in reference to your 5.0(302) engine.

Well I regret to inform you the answer to your question if you view it that way is "NO". JPC makes one but not for the 5.0's.

If I'm not mistaken, the stuff on the top of the intake, emblems and ribs, is separate and comes off. Probably ugly underneath though.
