Anyone know of any good mustang shops to install shocks and springs in NJ?
I know there is at least one or more down in south jersey that are quite reputable. But I don't know their names. Can anyone recommend any mustang shops? I primarily need them to install a new suspension in my car, shocks/struts and springs. Thanks in advance.

most places can do this work. Call some local place and check on prices. If your dropping with those new springs you might want to go to a place that has a alignment machine. If your dropping it more than an inch get some camber bolts before you go.

Thanks, I'll have to check their location. I thought they were in western PA. The shops I was referring to are near the shore more specifically.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did they quote you? I'm looking at shocks and struts, springs, an adjustable panhard bar and of course an alignment after everything is installed.
I see very few '11s on the road. A get together would be cool.

It is local. I was actually just down that way on Saturday to get my car tinted. Any info you could provide would be appreciated.

You mean doing it yourself or myself rather? I was thinking of attempting it but am scared to mess something up or do it wrong. Especially with the suspension I don't want to mess up. I am pretty handy however and can do most mods myself, I just always shied away from suspension work.

J, the rears are easy, but the fronts are more of a PITA. Tacobill has a writeup, let me see if I can find it.

I was lazy and didn't want to deal with losing any of the little ball bearing doo-dads, so we took both sides off the car, took them to a shop and had them do it. Took about an hour.

Remove the front tires remove 2 lower bolts remove the 4 nuts at the top of the strut, remove the brake line from the strut =one small bolt, and one other par clip.
The rear they say to remove the lower shock bolt, remove the bolt that holds the brake line to the frame, remove the 4 bolts that hold the sway bar on by the lower shock bolt. Then lower the rear axle untill you can wiggle the springs out of there. You don't really have to remove the rear tires to get it done.
