I've been fooling with the idea of having my headlight buckets painted black. I did a couple quick chops and I absolutely love the look of this. I contacted Lightwerkz but they said they cannot work on the '10 Mustang lights because the sealant the manufacturer uses holds to tight for them to disassemble the lights. Anyone else heard of any other reputable companies that do this? The HID's are way to expensive for me to just go prying myself.

I did a chop a while ago where I basically "painted" black vinyl eyelids over the lens of the headlight. Not a permanent mod and still gives you a similar look. If you do it in matte black, it would blend in with your grille even better than the inner pockets being painted would.
