Anyone installed Procharger in 5.0 Yet?
Curious if anyone on here has installed the procharger kit yet in their 5.0. I think this is the route I am going to be taking. Looking for advice, experience, opinions, install, tuning info. etc..? Any info you can provide on your experience is great.

Pretty sure I've seen a black kit on a Coyote. Let me try & find it.

I have read a lot about the Ford Racing/Whipple Supercharger in mustang magazine. I don't know what month they did an article on it, but it definitely stood out from the competition. The gains on the Supercharge put the test mustang at over 623 horsepower. They recommended to have a Ford tech install it but it did not say anything about the warranty.
Steeda has one on there website for just over 7k. I would consider this somewhat of a bargain compared to what you would pay for a GT500 with less HP.
I have not heard anything about the fuel pump replacement.
I have put several Steeda aftermarket parts on my Mustang and their tech's are very helpful over the phone. If you are really interested in getting the most out of your car, give them a ring and they should help you out.
You also get the Ford Racing ProCal ECU programming device. Definitely going to make your Mustang SCREAM!!!

Yeah I am looking at putting Procharger setup on mine, appears to be much easier install than supercharger thats the main reason im looking at procharger. 4-5 hours on procharger install. All day project at least on supercharger install.

Have you read either install manual? They're both fairly easy to install.

Yes that is what I was referring to. I have read up on both and it appears that to install a twin screw center mount type you actually have to do a little mod to the front of engine block to install while with procharger setup style it seems to be bolt up bracket with minor to no mods needed. Im just trying to find out for sure with the procharger setup if you have to do anything with the fuel pump like prior model years. Or do you just install the upgraded injectors and computer programming and that is it.

In order to install this intercooler, you have to cut out a portion of the bumper support in order for it to fit.
So, both kits require modifications.
No need to upgrade the fuel pump until you are at around 650rwhp. Injectors, spark plugs, and tune. That's what you need.

If you do go Procharger, get the Stage 2 kit. Surprisingly enough, American Muscle has the Stage 2 kit cheaper than the H.O. Kit right now.

There are 2 versions of the Stage 2 kit.
A complete kit and a tuner kit.
The tuner kit omits the injectors and tune.
American Muscle has the complete Stage 2 kit for a very good price.
The cheaper price could be due to more Stage 2 units purchased by them in a buy-in. I called AM, and they confirmed the pricing was correct.
