I've been really lucky lately. I think it's been about five years since my last ticket. Thank you, Beltronics.

I do not yet have my 5.0, but either way, I am and will be hesitant to go too fast. Once you go above 85 in AZ, technically it is at the officer's discression as to whether or not he can have your car towed. Since the speed limit is 75, obviously it does not happen much whithin a reasonably close proximity to the speed limit, but I do not want to tempt fate. He is whithin is legal rights to make your day really bad if you go above 85, so I limit myself to that.

Yes.

40 over is somewhere around 6 points I think. Not to mention all the fees & the "super speeders fine" here in Georgia. Possibility of wreckless driving charge. Possible arrest & car towed.

Not to mention, it was a GSP who got me.

Well, I got a warning in my '10 V6.. 75 in a 35... I have no clue how I didn't get a ticket.. I just used "yes ma'am-no ma'am".. she said since it was my first time to be pulled over she would let me go, but that I could of lost my license, paid an extreme ticket(s), and been charged with wreckless driving.

I've also been pulled over for no front plate.. the cop didn't give me a ticket or tell me to get one on.. He just said he pulled me over because it was 3 AM and I didn't have a front plate and looked suspicious. Hmm..

..I know it's not a 5.0, but I thought you might like to hear my story.

ADD: Also, everymorning on the way to school I pass through a school zone and they built a lane/spot for a cop to sit in the middle of traffic.. and every morning he rolls his window down (because it's like 5 MPH) and tells me "Son, next time I see you, You had better have a front plate on that bad boy or I'll write you a ticket." ..or something to that effect. Never does though.

Hi, I got a 150km/h in a 110 zone ticket $264 and 4 demerits. Accelerating off of an on ramp and got carried away. First time I've ever been pulled over in close to 30 years lol.

Popped my 10year freeway cherry with a 100 in a 65/no signal/tailgating/no plates ticket...honestly though I did signal, hit 85 for a heartbeat and tailgated for a split second.
As for the plates, guilty.

Basically, I squeezed through two drivers doing 60 in the fast and adjacent lane and got popped by motorcycle after id slowed back to 70 on my own accord.

GSP= Georgia State Po Po.

I've gotten a few tickets in my time, but never in the three mustangs I've had! I got fired from a job once driving parts for Subaru in NH. At a red light on a two lane road I got impatient for some reason. I split between the two vehicles at the light when it turned green and sped off, and the car on the right happened to be a caravan full of kiddies. The mom called the staties on me. That was the end of that career

In 2008 I left the dealership with my new Mustang, following my wife. I got caught with passing cars on my left and a truck entering the hyway. I let the truck in and then caught up to my wife. He was right there as I got up to 85, very easy. Went to traffic school and did not get points taken away. Now I flat out do not speed, can't afford it.

I've been pulled over twice in my 5.0, one of which resulted in a ticket (71 in a 55). Thankfully, I hadn't gotten a ticket since 9/11/2001 (yes, that 9/11), so I was able to get the points waived by attending traffic "school."
