Anyone with a glassroof GT !

Just curious as to see if anyone has gotten his GT with the glassroof. I'd be interested to see a few pics from the ouside and inside, especially if it has the saddle interior, and make that Sterling grey exterior please. Now please don't give me a link to a Ford website or brochure. I've seen them all.

Did you search? I know there are a bunch of GR threads with owner posted pics. No Sterling though...

I know about your ETA, we're the same, but you should get to the dealer first. I have a 6.5 hour drive to my dealership. Bullrun time with a rented car.

I'm pretty sure there aren't any SG/Saddle/GR cars on here. Trust me. I'd know. I was going to order it.

I still can't find a mustang with a glass roof to see if I like it or not. Is it worth the 2k extra? I like the open feeling without having a vert.

Test drove a GT with a glass roof... HATED it .. lol felt like an ant under the magnifying glass in the summer sun.. dunno bout the 11 but the pull out shade on the 10 was flimsy .. it literally sat on my head... >< Im 6'2" .. but still... so I stuck with the regular roof.. but Im sure some people prolly love them..
I THOUGHT I would like it .. but it just didnt impress me at all .. especially for the cost..

How is the glass roof in hot climates? The summers here get 110-115!

I have read a lot of reports from 9-10MY owners with the glass roof that there isn't any difference in the heat inside the car as long as you put up the shader. I'm much more worried about the black leather interior holding heat than the glass roof letting too much in.

Glassroof - check
Saddle Interior - check
Sterling grey - Um, it was cloudy the day I took the pictures so if you squint...

There are pictures under my profile of interior & exterior. I've had mine almost a year and I really love it. It gets hot here in Georgia but I don't think my 2010 gets any hotter than my 2007 did. (Same window tint on both - 3M Crystalline 40%.) I leave the shade closed and that seems to keep it just as cool as a traditional roof would. The auto climate control helps too.

I have a glass roof and a solid roof in the Vette that I have alternated over the years. Glass roof heats up the black leather seats terribly. Anything over 90 degrees and I put the solid roof on. Can't do that with the glass roof Mustang. I look forward to no sunroof or glass roof as it will be much cooler. When I test drove the 11' GT, I was amazed at how cool the black interior in the black GT was.

Every review I've heard from owners of the glass roof says the temp inside the car is just fine. especially when the shade is down
