Anybody Who Traded their 2010 GT for an 11 Have Yours Yet?

Has anybody traded your '10 GT for an '11 and already driving the new one? I'm eager to hear comparisons from those who have driven both a good bit.

I'm in the process of either upgrading my 2010, picking up a Roush 427R, and now considering ordering a 2011 IF they are that much better than a '10. Everything has been speculation up to this point on how much better the 5.0 might be from the 4.6, the 5-speed vs. 6-speed trans, etc. Now that the '11 is on the street, maybe someone can provide a real comparison.

It would cost me about $3500 to trade out of my 2010. Is the '11 worth it?

Depending on your mileage and options, I would say do it. I know, I would do it in a heart beat and not look back.

I say keep the 2010 and mod it.

The 2011 would be a better choice than the 427R, faster and better mileage and with the Brembo option just as good handling and stopping.

If you were to go with the 427R you might just as well mod the car you have.

Well the difference was more like $11,000 for me from my 2007 and yes its worth it to me. But then I knew this was coming and didnt even look twice at the 2010 (Left-Over 2008 GT500's are a different issue). You already have a much better car than I did but for $3500 I would do it in a heart beat. Better Suspension (Unless you have Track Pack) and better brakes (even without the Brembos) , much nicer trans (Just shift it once!), and I think I even prefer the steering and 93 bhp (Actual SAE J1349 Results on Premium 323 bhp vs 416 bhp).

How much did you sell your 2007 for?

I'm going to sell my 2008 next summer and I was figuring I'd get $18k back, or about $20k of a difference..

I think the OP means he'll have to eat $3500 on top of the cost of the new car when he trades in the '10 (upside down). Last couple posts I think are talking about what it'll cost them out the door after they subtract the trade.

Yes, the OP is talking about $3500-4000 in negative equity from the 2010 with whatever he gets.

I still say until you can come out of the car in the black, don't worry about it.
