Anybody not like their Recaro seats ?!

Just wondering if anybody does not like their Recaros? It's taking me awhile to get comfortable with them, seems like I'm adjusting the seating position each time I get in the car.....

Id love to have a set!

And once you finally get them 'right', it'll have to go in for service for something and the tech will move them every way possible whether he needs to or not to make that 25 yard drive into the garage...

No issues at all here. Very easy for me to find a comfy position... One of my favorite parts about the car

I really love my seats now but it took me a little while to get used to them. I felt like my head was pushed ahead more than I would like but I'm now used to it. :-)

For what they cost you better start liking them, or at least tell everyone you do!

Took me a few days to find the right adjustment but they suit me just fine now, no more bracing my knee against the door like I always felt like I had to do in my 2012.

I have found my wife and our friends like the recaros a lot too. I tend to take corners quickly and everyone else who has ridden in the car has been impressed with the seats as well. They fit me perfectly and have since the day I picked up the car. I like manually adjustable seats best, but I could see the power ones could make it a bit more flexible in fine tuning.

I love mine and have since the first time I sat in them. I sat in a BOSS on the showroom and was sold. I like the upright seating position and have memorized the exact position from all the way back, all the way down, and all the way tilted forward so if someone else drives my car I can get it just right quickly. Hands down the best seats I have ever had in a car....ever.

I don't have recaro's, but I sat in them and they were too tighten on my lats. I wanted to like them, but glad I didn't get them. My premium leather don't hold me in as good, but I have made a few long trips and love the ability to adjust them.

I really wanted the Recaros and was close a couple of times to buying them. 75% of the time the standard seats are as good if not better for my actual usage as a dd. I only have one car, so my mustang does everything. Sounds silly but on long drives, I shift position, slouch, or just sit crooked in my seat. Recaros don't let me do that. It's that 25% that drives me crazy.

i'm probably the minority but i have premium leathers, found the FRPP recaros here for an insane price. bought them, rode around with them for a couple of days but decided to sell them. they were nice but definitely a little snug, and i'm not even that big of an guy. i think if they were leather i prob would have kept them but i was missing my power/leather seats and ended up going back to them.

I would have preferred the Recaro's to have more bolster and also more of a dip in the back, at PDX/HPDE's I find myself shuffling forward and then have to scoot back several times during a session.

Will probably get laughed at for this... But HAD to have the Pony Projection Lighting!... I know some guys think less of it. But was too cool for this guy to pass up! Therefore no Recaro Seats in my Track Pack...

What does that have to do with getting Recaro seats in your car?

I am 5'9 and 190 lbs and he recaros hug me very snug but that's what I want. They are definitely personal preference. If they were not an option I would have out in a set of corbeaus most likely. Anyone who is bigger than I am or doesn't like the feel of being tightly "constrained" in a seat probably would not like the seats tho. I can understand that. I have my jeep for long most long drives but if I ever upgrade the seats in the mustang I would drop the recaros into the jeep

Guessing it was one or the other due to costs?

I love them. Very comfortable even on longer trips. I am 6'4" and 270 LB and do not find them snug at all

How does that work?

I'm 6'2" 190 and mine are snug, but they are supposed to be and I like it that way.

But, how does someone who is bigger than me not also find them snug?

The pony projection lamps are, oddly enough, part of the comfort package. The comfort package includes power/heated seats up front.
