Any recommendations on where to buy touch up paint?
Unfortunately I opened up my door a little to hard today in my tiny garage and dinged the side of the door.
The mark is miniscule and unnoticeable unless I point it out, but it will bug me forever if I don't fix it. I'm thinking about getting a touch up paint pen and clearcoat pen (probably over kill in this case) from here http://www.automotivetouchup.com/paintpen.asp
Anybody know any place cheaper of better quality?

Here's a few OEM options. It's always $10-15 give or take...
I wouldn't really fuss too much over a dollar or so.

I am in the same boat. Except its from a couple rock chips from not one but TWO rocks hitting my car. It makes me a bit depressed (i know i know i'm being melodramatic) but really, just got this car 4 days ago! Got to get these fixed because it irritates me knowing they are there.

I know guys that have used Dr. Colorchip and were really happy with the results.

Jason, from my understanding of your chirp which seems to ver VERY small, i would not bother with primer and stuff, just get the OEM touch up paint from dealer, build up paint layers to the existing one, use 1500 grit sand paper, and then just buff it out. I use to have a very bad chirp that was down to bare metal on my Escape, had to put 10 layers of touch up paint to build it up. Sanded it, buffed it, and now you can't see it anymore.

Luckily its on the edge of the door it doesn't have to be perfectly smooth. I'll take a pic right now...
EDIT: My phone camera quality is too terrible to see it lol

I have always used www.paintscratch.com
The color match is always flawless and they will even mix rattle cans to paint clear bug deflectors and window vent shades with. I have done this on about 6 vehicles and they always come out looking like they were done by a body shop. They also offer a small bottle or clear to use over the paint to seal it. Really a top quality company.

If you know anything about 1500 fine grit sand paper you know it is the wet stuff for cars. That will remove the minor inperfections from the paint build up and make things smooth, then you just have to buff it out with a good compound, wax. I spent about 40 hours on my '69, blocking, wet-sanding and buffing the shine back from the freshly painted surface. NEVER will i ever do that again. Had to go in phisiotherapy for a month. No kidding.
