I'm having a real hard time deciding between these two. I'm definitely ordering a set with Nitto's. but can't decide which...I like the aggressive race styling of the GT500's, but I also like the unique look of the AMR's.

Just me, but why are you asking others what they like? It's your car, pick what makes you happy. If its that difficult to decide, seems to me you'd be happy with either...

 

I don't understand why people always ask questions like that anytime anybody asks what others opinions are on a choice. I'm curious what others think. Us humans are social creatures after all.

 

And I don't understand why people let others make decisions for them when they're perfectly capable of doing it themselves...but then maybe you the approval of others to be happy with yourself.

So anyways, back to the thread topic. One thing I can't tell from the videos is how dark the AMR's are. I would really be leaning towards the Matte Black GT500's, especially if the AMR's are too light of a charcoal gray. For those that have the AMR's or others, how do you think they'd look on race red?

Ahh...gotcha. Those are beautiful wheels for sure. The only thing is I'm not sure I'd want to go up to a 19"/20" wheel. I'm thinking of staying at 18" which I have now for better drag performance.

 

The replica GT500 wheels are just not to my liking. Put them next to the real deal and you'll see just how different they really are.

Go AMR if th choice is those or replica GT500.

Go GT500 if your getting the real deal....

You know, since everyone and their ****ing mother has them on their car and no one can decide to do anything out of the ordinary since you know these are the only wheels that look good on the S197 Mustang.

 

Thanks for that info. That is one area that definitely concerned me with them being replicas.

I did also find a pic online with the charcoals on a race red and I do have to say I like them. I was worried that they wouldn't be dark enough for my tastes, but they look really good here I think.
