Don't forget that you also get a separate X Plan rebate by using X plan as well. I missed what you are getting, but if it's a 2012, right now there is an extra $500 X Plan rebate.
$500 + $1000 + $750 + $500 = $2750
The X Plan rebates are only published on the X Plan website (www.fordpartner.com) so you will have to ask about it.

I looked in the system and there is a seperate x-plan 500 rebate but it might not be compatible with the 750 certificates. If anyone has a certificate already and would like to PM me their zip code and last name I will check to see if they all work together.

Where did you get this info? My saleswoman said that there is $1500 in total rebates for the '12 Mustang and nothing additional for A or X plan at this time. I logged on to the fordpartner site and see the $500 rebate but I took that as the rebate they've been offering for months and it hasn't updated to show the additional $1000.
You are looking in the right spot. Read footnote number 2 below that, it says that that rebate is separate from the other FMC rebates.
Literally show that webpage to your saleswoman. It doesn't have a program number for the X Plan rebate, but she will be able to look it up.

When I bought my car they were compatible, but that was almost a year ago. Ford could have changed the restrictions since then.

Not good news but atleast everyone will know what to expect.
The x-plan 500 and the 750 certificate are not compatible programs.
So the most you can get is the 1500 + 750 for total of 2250, but heck thats a ton of dough.

X plan is great, but you can do better. I got my car last month for $1000 below invoice, and then an additonal $2000 off in rebates (2011 GT) and then an additional $750 off for the private cash offer. Total was $3,750 below invoice, and $6,848 below MSRP.

Yes, that's what we did. And, if you receive that $750 coupon, then all you got to do is have your salesperson "protect it" by contacting thier Ford zone representative, which they will do if you already have a car on order, that way it expiration will be extended a couple months giving time for your car to arrive.
