Tune and supercharger usually get you the most bang for the buck; with the tune being the less expensive. If you are adding Hp you'll need to upgrade your driveshaft first.

put a set of 215/55's if you have 17's or 235/45's if 18's.. same as doing a gear job w/o the work

He's asking about upgrades for a v6. He didn't ask if he should sell his v6 in order to get more power. Don't turn this threat into a "why bother upgrading a v6" thread.

Must profess ignorance here. How does a tire change improve the same as a gear change?
More surface contact=better grip=ability to use more available torque?
Not fussing here, just don't know and want to learn something.
Thanks!

I think what he is doing is changing to a larger side profile on the tire, which increases the circumference, which means you travel slightly farther forward on a single tire rotation.

Downside is you'll get more tire lean in the corners which will hurt your handling quite a bit.

All this does in decrease the diameter of the tire slightly from 27.2" to 26.4"
It's a slight difference but you definitely feel it..
consequently (unlike above) the lower profile will also improve handling

now I thought I was covered by just saying GT500, but you're right anyone that owns a 13 GT500 is going to have to say it like that "it's a 13' GT500, sir" LOL

I've owned 4 mustangs....2 were V6's when I was in my late teens and early 20's. I understand the bug to mod your car with simple things like intake, tune, etc. I did it to my V6's.

But to suggest throwing a turbo (or twin turbo) set up on a V6 seems a little pointless to me (unless you are a company like AM building a project car). That $6,000 or so would be better off toward either paying off your car or a down payment on a GT.

Yes, indeed he did ask for that specific thing. For that very reason, I posed the counter point that has been raised many times in the past so that it would not be repeated on this thread. That was the point behind the pokey stick smiley...

Thanks for trying to help, you missed my attempt at humor here. I guess you read my reply and thought that I was (quoting Foghorn Leghorn) "about as sharp as a sack full of wet mice"
