Ahhhh a scratch!

Went for lunch today and my coworker noticed some light scratches on the corner of my front bumper.

The look VERY thin and light, and they are not straight, so I think they might be from branches or a bush instead of from somebody bumping me. I do park near hedges sometimes (since nobody can park on that side and scratch me) so I probably swung too wide one time and scratched it that way.

Anybody have any suggestions or can point me somewhere on a good way to remove light scratches?

Maybe some medium to heavy meguiars swirl/scratch remover. Use a slightly damp micro fiber and put some of that on the cloth and apply good pressure and just keep doing that for a long time. Have a separate micro fiber to wipe off after you're done rubbing it in

Lightly wet sand it by hand with 2000-1500 automotive grit sand paper. Then just buff it out with a good rubbing compound and finish it off wth a good quality wax. If it's just clearcoat scratches, your paint should come back as new. Voilà...

Thanks to those few that responded. Much appreciated.

Washed my car this weekend and went over the scratches with a wet microfiber towel, lightly "sanding" it. Happened to be at the auto store buying some tire spray and saw Meguiar ScratchX 2.0 and threw it in the basket. Used that with a clean microfiber towel and applied a little to the scratches, rubbing thoroughly. Scratches 95% gone, I'm a happy camper!

No problem I was in your same situation and that's what I did.
