Hello, I'm 48 years old thinking about buying my first Mustang, probably v6. I'm wondering what typical age of Mustang owner is, am I too old for a Mustang?

You're definitely not too old. This isn't a rattle-your-teeth-out Mustang from your childhood. This is an incredibly refined car with amazing road manners and smooth acceleration.
...with enough horsepower to make you feel like a kid again. ;-)

If you're asking the question... you're too old!
Just kiddin'!
Go take one for a drive... if it suits your tastes, buy it and "to hell" with what anyone else thinks.

As a 27 year old, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making the first group "16-30." I'm sick of being grouped off of the "16-25" cutoff and being lumped into "26-40."
Thank you. I feel young again.

We already have a pretty long "age" thread in this section. However, I'm 22 and would have been buying my first GT this year. Who knows when I will get the chance again. I'm hoping to get into SOMEthing stick/V8 this year.

You are never too old for a Mustang.

Go for it!! Just make sure you get the one you want the first time...6 vs 8 ? I for one don't give a rats behind about what other poeple think about what I drive, niether should you! I want to be the old guy that people talk about driving the mustang someday way way down the road. Take life by the wheel and hold on tight!!

I'm 51 and bought my first Mustang about 8 months ago. The biggest mistake I made was not getting one many years ago. Went to my first Mustang Week last weekend and had a blast.
