Adjustable Panhard Bar and Support

I have ordered the whiteline adjustable panhard bar and support brace. In a few nobths ill lower the car with bilstein shocks and struts.

Am I ok now to go ahead and install these parts now to save time later?

Those nobths will just fly by.
No problem installing the panhard bar now, it will need to be readjusted when you lower the car.

The last time I read about using a floor jack on the diff and axle stands on the axle tubes, it was a big no no. Has anything changed or is there a better way to jack up the rear end?

You're OK to install now.

If I'm gonna lift up the whole back of the car, I always put the jack under the back of the pumpkin, making sure that no part of the jack or lift pad touches the cover, and lift the car up from there.
Then, depending on whether I need to take the tires off or not, or if I need to be able to turn the wheels (like when replacing a driveshaft), I'll either use jack stands under the outer parts of the axle tubes (close to the lower control arm mounts), or I'll use some of my own wood supports under the rear tires.

I looked at my manual and it says the jack points are the pinch welds, 1 behind the front wheel and 1 in front of the rear wheel. There is a notch there where you put the jack stands. Personally I would not trust the wood supports by themselves but only as added insurance while the car is resting on the pinch welds on the jack stands.
