Actual delivery time of 2011 Mustangs

If you've taken delivery of your 2011 Mustang, how many weeks did it take to receive it after the build date?

Bad question. Some people had theirs shipped out asap, some were on QC (and still are) for months. Better question is : How long did it take to receive after shipping?

Your question is bad. I'm not interested in transportation duration. I'm more interested in all the variables that result in a car being delivered in a timely manner (or delayed).

Some friends of mine pulled my car ahead and pushed it through so they could present me my car at the plant.
I was 8 days from build to my driveway

Thanks to CorvetteDreaming's thread tracking some of the members' 2011 Mustang orders, here is roughly what I come up with as of his last update (5/28):

2011 Mustangs Delivered to Customers As of 5/28:
1 waited 1 week
5 waited 2 weeks
4 waited 3 weeks
5 waited 4 weeks
2 waited 5 weeks
2 waited 6 weeks
==
19 Total 1-6 weeks delivery wait time since build date

2011 Mustangs NOT Delivered to Customers As of 5/28:

8 waiting <2 weeks
4 waiting 2 weeks
13 waiting 3 weeks
==
25 Total 0-3 weeks delivery wait time since build date

1 waiting 4 weeks
2 waiting 5 weeks
8 waiting 6 weeks
5 waiting 7 weeks
1 waiting 8 weeks
==
17 Total 4-8 weeks delivery wait time since build date

Of those who've taken delivery of their Mustang as of 5/28, the majority required 4 weeks or less to receive their cars from the time of build.

Of those who were still waiting on their Mustang as of 5/28, the majority have been waiting 3 weeks or less from the time of build.

Considering all the new updates to the car and that this is a new model year startup, I think Ford is doing a decent job of getting the cars into the majority of customer's hands. Where Ford seems to be dropping the ball based on some of the posts I've been reading is communicating with customers the status of their car.

Again, my analysis is not exact and, it's as of CorvetteDreaming's 5/28 update (couldn't find a later one). Thought y'all would find this interesting.

I'm going on 8 weeks and still no car... Will vote if/when it shows up? I'm betting I'm be in the 13+ category. I keep telling myself that 3 months is not much when you figure I'll be able to drive it 'til I die (or lose my license)!

At least, that's what I keep telling myself. I don't believe me though.

I don't have my car yet but I'm at the highest end of the poll anyway.

Edit: Ok, I'm an idiot. I was thinking order to delivery time as I ordered after production began. Sorry.

I cannot vote, but IF it shows up at the dealership the 27th of June, it will be exactly 2 months from ordering to driving.
