AC clicking behind dash??

This past couple weeks this strange issue has developed. It started out as a once in a while thing, but now is all the time. When I turn on the AC, mainly when I first start the car, there is a fast loud clicking/knocking that comes from behind the middle of the dash. Lasts for about 10-15 seconds....Anyone know what the deal is?

It's one of the actuators going bad.

Yup..it's the actuator. Mine went bad, too, replaced under warranty.

AC clicking behind dash??

There are three behind your glovebox and a fourth behind the stereo, if you have dual climate control. Part is only about $40 but getting at the bolts holding them on is really, really tight. I couldn't do it and ended up having to have my dealer do it.

Thanks guys. I'm past my bumper to bumper. Just drive-train warranty left so it's good to know it's not an expensive part.
