2 differnt sets of tires and rims.. the second set had no issues on another car.

there is something loose in the steering somewhere.. bad ball joint, tie rod end, something is causing the tire/tires to wobble hense the vibration.. NO AMOUNT OF BALANCING IS GOING TO FIX THIS ISSUE.. reread the entire post is gets worse on turns...

Sorry to bring an old thread back from the dead but I'm also experiencing a scary wobble in my steering. This hasn't always been there but came after getting mutliple occurances of the advance track warning light coming on saying "service advnace track". Dealer is ordering a new rack and pinion set and I think a new eps module. By far the scariest feeling i ever had in a car. Felt like i would have lost control at a higher speed.

Praying this fixes it. Loved every moment in the car before this happened.

Hi Centurionusa,

My name is Deysha with Ford Customer Service. Glad to hear you are working with your dealer. I’d like to know to see how I can help. Please message me with your VIN, mileage, dealer and contact info.

Deysha if you can't see a PM from me by now let me know. The two messages I sent you aren't showing up in my sent folder. I'll email you the info if you're not getting it.

**edit** ignore this as I now see there's a box to check if you want to save a sent message, lol. My bad.

The rack and pinion part that i guess also has the eps module I was told today is on backorder. They are trying to figure out what the delay is. Has anyone had this happen before? I'm trying to figure out how much longer I'll be without my car and still have to drive the white town and country minivan the dealer gave me as a loaner, lol. It handles a bit differently then the Mustang, lol

Thats right, you heard right! there was water inside the tire. The guys told me that sometimes there is a lot condensation that builds inside air compressors and transfers into your tires. I never would of thought that!!!

They removed the water and no more vibration!!

Something to consider...

I never thought of this, but considering that you been to a number of tireshop and each one found some of your tires out of balance, this is quite a possible cause.
