#8 Failures, Which Tune Are You Running?
Seriously. Well as of right now we can ignore the Steeda and Amazon vote. I'll try to pm a mod if they don't see this thread so they can make the edits.
this is no joking matter to anyone..the tuners or the people having issues..they are trying to sort it out and find a common denominater for what is causing the failures..we need facts from the persons effected directly
reminds me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPYtCNu3pTU
But seriously OP, this poll/thread needs to be started over w/ an option for tune w/no problems so its more clear

I'd like to hear this too. I talked to Bama as recently as last week and they said they had no knowledge of a car with their tune popping #8. Ever. He said "not one person has called us and said 'I was running your tune and my car burnt #8' ever. And we ship hundreds of tunes"
Hey guys & gals
If this #8 failure is related to cylinder temps I would strongly recommend Redline's WatterWetter. I have used it for years on all my race cars & it does make a substantial difference in cooling temps. Cheap & easy to install.

I talked to the top guru at Steeda at length about all of this nonsense today . I will try to start a new detailed thread from my PC when I get a chance (I'm on Droid). Basically, The cooling on the #8 cylinder of this block is nothing new. companies dyno racing trying to get better numbers than the next guy by leaning the a/f definitely isn't helping the inherent issue of this block that dates back to the DOC 4.6 . Steeda is in the hottest part of the country so heat is always part of their testing and tuning. More to come...

So BRENSPEED now has 4 engines go with their tune...Is that correct? Three (3) from their posts as of yesterday and another one just posted...Am I reading this correctly?
