#8 Failures, Which Tune Are You Running?
It seems like the #8 cylinder failure has been getting out of hand on the forums lately. I've seen a couple threads where people post about their personal cars and their problems with #8 and then everyone jumps in and says they know so and so that had the same problem with x tune. I've also read about people hearing stock cars and cars with the FRPP tune that have had failures as well. I figured it would be nice to see a poll for the actual people who have had a problem and which tune they were running. This is for people who have problems with their 5.0 and their #8 cylinder. Please do not vote for someone else you may have heard of having a situation.
I made the poll with the most common tunes. If you select other, please indicate in the comments section which tune your running.

Note: I voted Steeda but have no issues but good ones with my Steeda 93 tune. My bad, I clicked the wrong place on the poll.

That is what everybody should be indicating; which octane tune these guys were running when they popped the #8.
Just my guess, is that most of these #8's will be a 93 tune. Get some bad gas/wrong octane, and a hot day. "POP"

I have no clue who xlover is..
at Amazon to date we have not been contacted by anyone claiming that our tune is responsible for a #8 failure or any other issues.
unless he can come up with a customer name, either himself or the person suppossed to have our tune then his claim is unsubstantiated and nothing more than an attempt to discredit
whoever he is referring to needs to contact us
thank you for making this a public poll so that we can see who posted..this subject needs to be based in facts.. there is too much potential for fraud in a poll like this and there are tuners reps at stake here

Are the cars with cylinder #8 failures mostly 2011's or 12's, or is it pretty evenly mixed? I've read on here that some untuned cars have had these failures, so I'm curious as to whether it's related to some sort of QC issue with the new 12's. I have steeda intake and tune and have taken my car on 2k + mile trip and haven't had any issues, and my car is driven pretty hard (it's an 11 by the way).

I didn't vote because I fit a category with no voting option- I ran Bama 91 street tune for a while with no problems, removed as a preventative measure until we know what's what.
Oh, this poll is off to a good start!
