Did as many of you said to do, ordered a catalog for the 2012 Mustang a month or so ago, it came and all it offered was some financing options that end April 4th which without 2012s on the lots won't help much, but no cash off.. I took a chance and went to the ford.com site and asked for a brocedure on the Explorer and today I got info AND a voucher for 750 off an explorer or most other Fords, the GT500 is not included and the hybrids and some others but my 2012 GT is not excluded.. YIPEEEEEE The 750 is good till May 31st, so my April 11th or so delivery will work out perfect.. Keep trying if you need one....

 

I also received a $750 private offer in the mail, on Saturday. Mine is good till 5/2/11, ordered the car today and the dealer locked in the extra $750.

 

I got mine few days after i bought my car. I called the dealership and they said that the finance guy "caught" the coupon at the time of the sale. He put in for it and will let me know when it comes in. Said it may take a week or two. Does this sound legit?

 

Got one last week, looks like the only Mustang it excludes is the GT500 so you could use it on a Boss apparently.

 

Sent for explorer brochure. I said I was going to buy in the next 30 days. I don't know if that matters. We'll see.

Yes sounds ligit. At this point the dealer has to apply for re-imbursement so they aren't going to fork over $500 until they have approval on it.

my 750 is good til 5/6 but i won't lock in the bonus $500 that expires 4/4..i think i have all of april to see if ford will renew it or increase it. thanks for the heads up here..

 

It's not locked it's "protected" meaning if it goes up you get the greater rebate and if it goes down you still get your $500. It's a win win in my book so I don't see why you would wait . . .

 

to the Sheriff: I told Ford 30-90 days in the email, mine expires May 31st.

 

i read on the other thread in order to protect rebates you need your order pulled by ford first with a vin number? i'm not at that stage yet. was there a press release on this?

The wife and I each requested brochures at the same time Monday night.
She got an email today with the $750 rebate an I got an email without one right at the same time today. Strange. She picked 30-90 days as did I. I also did another request for 0-30 days. Glad it works within the household.
Just to be clear, you can use it along with the $500 rebate right? For a total of $1250? The exclusions on the 750 private cash aren't very clear.

 

Yes you can use it with the $500. Read the fine print . . . all it says is you can't use with any other "private" offers (college cash, etc.) or A/Z/D plan. Now go buy one!
