64M 18" Polished Aluminum Wheels

Anyone have a pic of a '11 GT with this wheel? Undecided what wheel package i should get or should i just get the stock and get after market rims.

Um, it looks exactly the same as every 2010 with the wheel. Go look at the galleries. It's nice and looks better than the base GT wheels IMO. I would get the Brembo Pkg though, so it doesn't matter to me.

They are the V6 Pony Package wheels, unchanged / carry-over from 2010 just as Patrick said.

The 2010 V6 Pony Package is pretty popular on dealer lots right now and I noticed a lot of GT's with these wheels too (Wis. & Ill. anyway) ... this tells me they may be pretty common too, just an FYI.

Personally if I were getting a GT, I would not upgrade to a V6 wheel ... would feel more like downgrading to me.

To each his own. I think the stock wheels are the best looking ones, with the exception of the 2010 GT 500 wheels.

I agree, I definitely like the stock 18's better than the Pony pkg wheels any day ... probably the least common 2010 Mustang wheel on the street too.

Current Mustangs just don't look right to me with CHROME on them ... got to have other chrome (bumpers, window trim, etc.) to go with chrome wheels.

I like it. Seems to be easy to clean, sporty enough for a stang, and elegant enough for a daily driver. I don't like tri-bar ponies as center caps because on one side of the car the horse is running backwards.

These wheels aren't chromed, they're aluminum with a high polish. I think on a light colored car overly shiny wheels may be too much shininess. But on a dark color like Sterling Gray or Kona Blue, I think a shiny wheel looks nice. And I've always preferred polished aluminum over chrome. I've probably read more negative comments about this wheel than any other but it's my favorite on a dark Mustang. Hence my order for a 2011 GT in Kona Blue with these wheels.

They do look really good on Kona/Sterling...I like them. They remind me of the FR500s, but toned down a little.

If you order 18's you loose the tower bar, I upgraded to those very wheels and yes no tower brace. Additional $395 for upgrade and you loose! I still wasn't happy like I thought I would be untill I put 18x10 rear and 18x9 frt FR500 wheels on!

That's not exactly correct. The strut tower brace does not come with the standard wheels, so you aren't losing the brace by choosing the 64M wheels. You just aren't gaining it like you would if you had bought one of the 19" wheel options. If a person likes the look of the 64M the best, yet feels that a strut tower brace is vital they can always buy an aftermarket one or buy the factory brace from the parts department. I guess I'll think about it if I feel like there's a lot of chassis twisting going on while cornering.

I was wondering about that. So the tower brace comes with the 19 inch wheels? That's too cool!

That's what I ordered! The 19 inch painted luster wheels!

You usually see GTs with those wheels paired with 3.55 gears. At least on dealer's lots. I think with a .5" spacer onthe fronts and 1" on the rears, lowered, would look really good!

Or just have them widened by the same amount.

I agree though, I would add the Ford STB from the 2011s if you like these wheels and aren't stuck on the Brembo Pkg wheels...

I have them on my Black 2010 and like them a lot. Fairly easy to keep clean as well.
