If we are talking about a 5.0 in a GT500 then that is a different story.
However, if we are talking about a 5.0 replacing the 4.6 in the GT then I do not believe that we will hear about it until close to the 2011MY.

yea well they aint doing as bad as ford, gm and chrysler. big difference. gm/chrysler could be banckrupt by years end/early of the year. imports arent doing as bad as that. like i said, big difference.

it makes a lot of sense to me to put the 5.0 in the mustang first
I'd rather see the 5.0 in the F-150 first. See how the motor can take the abuse before dropping it in the Mustang.

As for the past that I brought up, it just shows everyone that the Mustang has never really had a all new motor debut in it.

I just hope Ford doesn't make a big mistake by not adding a special motor in a 2010MY SE. They need the buyer incentive! 5.0 or not, something has to change! The GT was a disappointment...other than the body.

The 2010 will sell just fine. The new design should easily get them through one model year. SEs won't be necessary.

this is the first time i agree with you, its amazing. the hp level of the gt needed to be more like 350-375 range to compete better with camaro and challenger. thats the only disappointment i am experiencing

that is definitely a nice incentive, but a nicer one would be when the 5.0 comes out and the option of a supercharger upgrade.

Yet again...I agree! the supercharger is nice, but I don't want to sacrifice that warranty when adding a Roushcharger won't!
