$300 under invoice

Joe, I just PM'd back to you about the price quote your local dealer gave you. I can't imagine why a dealer would be offering to sell a hot new product like the '11 Mustang GT 5.0L below invoice, but if they are you should jump on it.

That's right for the 401A package (I had quoted you based on the 400A package). That's really $300 below the invoice total and a heckuva offer from your dealer. Plus, by the time your car is built and delivered, there might even be rebates that would lower your price even more!

If the cars begin ariving in April, if they are not selling good enough, Ford may publish a rebate. It doesn't matter what rebates are available when you order the car, as the rebates are applied when deliverly is taken (sign papers and get keys).

right, I understand that you get what rebates are around when you take delivery. But I just didn't think Ford would rebate a car within a month of its debut......

Hey DarkCandy...I'm from Rochester too and I bet I know what dealer that is. I ordered a V6 MCA in January too from the same dealer I bet. Does the dealer start with a "V"? If so, it's a great dealer and I absolutely love how they do business.

You got it. I wish i knew about them all along.

Remember also, they can only give you a good estimate of your trade.
When the new car arrives they can easily give you a little less (as much as 1K).
Sell it on your own.

HI Dark Candy, I live in Massachusetts and i drive all the way up there to get cars from this dealer. I have bought 3 subarus from them and i will be buying my 2011 gt from them. They never play games and give a great price. I am in and out of the dealership in less than a hour. Carl.
