2014 Exhaust?

I just bought a 2014 gt mustang. i am looking to buy an exhaust. i live in california and dont feel like having problems with law enforcement due to noise level. however i love loud exhausts. im looking at the flowmaster outlaws but it looks to be like cops will be all over me. what does anyone else think? and what are your suggestions?

I personally like the GT500 axle backs. Will be my exhaust of choice when the time comes. Nice sound... But not too loud.

ok thanks, ive listened to some sound clips on them and i think im looking for something with alittle more grunt. borla s types sound nice but there alittle on the pricey side. the outlaws are hard to pass up since they are only 399$

Well said. These two posts alone should end this thread discussion lol. Seems like we post this same response at least once a week

I went with Mac, live here in Ca. Sounds deep and awesome, I just watch for cops and take my foot off the gas push in the clutch and coast on by. I think I would be over the DB limit by about 2 db as measured by DMV - seems to get quiet at 3k rpm for some reason. Plenty of drone @2k in 6th.

If it were my daily driver I would go with 500s.

I have the Outlaws, love the extreme old school sound from 2500-5000, but they are very loud.

The Macs have the beast sound and looks but the drone was more than I wanted. Switched back to the 500s.

Use the search function people. Exhaust is discussed on a daily basis and there's a sticky thread filled with sound clips. Can we move on to something fresh like which weight oil to use or the benefits of the JLT catch can?

What oil weight should I use with the GT500 mufflers.
