Hello All,

Yesterday my wife and I noticed that her Mustang was leaking rain into the drivers side. Both the front and rear foot wells were wet. Is there any well known places that these cars leak from or somewhere to start looking at? Thanks for any help.

 

There are drains in the bottom of the doors, make sure they are open since you have been getting rain it might have filled up the door.

 

There are a pair of duck bill valves in the cowl, they could get obstructed with leaves and needles.

Yea, my car had the same problem. It was only on the passenger side though, from the cowl. Water would get in on the passenger side and make it's way to the floor of the back seat. My car was under warranty at the time, they said it was from the metal joint sealer between the fender and cowl not done properly.

Now my car has another water leak into the driver's door. Car is out of warranty, think I have to replace the rubber seal along the bottom of the door window. I hear so much problems with the S197s leaking water from every angle into the interior.
