Is there any way/modification to adjust the 2014 Base GT Passenger Seat Height with manual seats?? Everyone feels like they are sitting in a hole. I sat there and I had the same impression. The drivers seat is higher than the passenger seat even in it's lowest position. Is it possible to add spacers or something between the seat mounting bolts and the floor pan?

 

Guess you could space it up.

That's strange, never noticed any appreciable difference in height on mine or had anyone make any comment about it.

 

I've had the same complaints from friends sitting in the passenger seat. I went to the dealership and they told me I should have gotten powered passenger side seats. I think they quoted me something like $800 for the parts. I rather other mod parts.

 

elkk, I understand. The reason we ordered the "comfort package" is so the Wifey could raise the seat high enough to see over the hood. I'm not sure if spacers will safely secure the seat in case of an accident. So, if you go that route it may be a good idea to check into this.

 

Could also effect air bag effectiveness if modified too much...

 

I hear ya. My 08 GT was the same way, 2013 is no better. Seriously whacked..everyone feels like they're looking at the glovebox. Can't believe this item is still carrying on from '05. Nutty.

 

Doesn't bother me in the least - my drivers seat is adjustable, that's all I need

Would be nice to have passenger height, but it's definitely not a priority. I'm in my car by myself 99% of the time
