Not much faster than the old one. Problem with the current Shelby GT500, and Mustang for that matter, is that the car weighs too much and there's not enough traction on street tires with all that torque.

On the drag strip with DR's or slicks, I'm guessing 3.8s 0-60mph, and 11.5s @ 130mph in the 1/4-mile.

If the guys at SVT can keep the wheel spin to a minimum and actually get that power to the road, the extra 112hp will definitely make a difference. I'm more interested in how it will turn.

1st gear will take the car past 60 MPH so it'll probably be a bit faster than the previous one - I'll guess 3.5!

16/24 mpg are you kidding me? a regular 5.0 is 15/24 i bet its more like 12/19
