One would think that if Ford could put an automatic in a Lightning, they could offer one in a Shelby for folks like this lady that wasn't comfortable with a stick. Yeah, yeah, I know some think they know what this woman needed, and that she was an idiot for trading. But, we ain't her.

I don't get why everyone's so angry. It's a goddamned car. There's no need to rage because someone doesn't share your passion. I'm a sailor. I wouldn't in the least bit be surprised if someone won a nice Sonar with a set of North Sails and traded it in on a Sea-Doo. Some people don't love what you love. Get over it.

Why do you care that everyone cares?

It's very close to Molly Pop. A custom pink paint that Steve Saleen had made for his cute @ss daughter.

Why buy a car, only to have to buy another car to actually drive?

B/c she didn't know how to drive it. Could have put it away for one of her kids or until she felt comfortable with it but thinking about it there's probably more to the story that we don't know. In the video she said she always wanted one so there could be lots of reasons she traded it. Maybe It wasn't all she thought it would be (hard to believe), not enough room having two kids (very likely since she got an explorer) or maybe she needed some extra money. Whatever the case may be I hope she got money back from the dealer.

I seriously doubt she went into it with that mindset. She apparently found the car too much (as her given reason was that it was too difficult to drive in traffic), putting her in the position of either getting rid of the car or--as was suggested--getting something else to drive in the mean time so she can learn how to better handle it.
I don't see the problem with the suggestion.
