Nice! I love the looks of the 2013 front fascia and hood!

 

well while I wait for my car to arrive ( scheduled for tomorrow) the dealer took my current trade in car and gave me a brand new 2013 5.0 black auto as a loaner while I wait for the shelby, seemed fair! Man these 5.0's are awesome cars! Im amazed how strong it is, comfortable, responsive, fit and finish...I mean they are light years ahead of my 05 GT. Kudos to Ford, I can only imagine what my shelby will be like!

 

Congrats to all you received their cars.. Hopefully won't be to much longer.

The dealer called and gave me my vin last friday 22/06 saying the car was schedule for the 21/06. He doubled check and he is sure of is info. My question is is it normal that i canT get window sticker even if the car have a schedule built date that is already past....? Thank you.

My dealer just called and told me a snake rolled off a truck this morning and is slithering around the showroom. Then my boss informed me that I appear to have bubonic plague and must leave immediately in the interest of my co-workers. Pics of the unfolding tragedy tonight!

I know the feeling. Mine is at the local yard now going on 8 days. Called dealer friday and basically politely told ETA is tomorrow (6/23) and that is subject to change. It could be another 7 days. So politely told me to calm down and it will be here when it gets here.

I think I am just going to wait until July 3rd to take delivery. I have waited this long whats a few extra days. The new incentives should be out as old ones only good through 7/2. Make me wait a week, I don't mind making the dealer wait a week.

Finally, it is home. I have a few pics, but they aren't the greatest thanks to the inclement weather we had today. Kinda ruined the nice detailing they did, but I'll have that corrected this weekend.







Trunk: Front Air Dam (not installed at this point, we'll see). Shelby Car Cover, Custom slide out front license plate bracket mentioned in other threads here. Not sure how to get it on just yet, we'll see.



The only flaw on the car was that it was missing an air valve stem cover. They are aluminum on the Shelby's, and the dealer didn't have any spares around. No problem, while I was waiting for it to be detailed I went to Autozone and found a nice set of Blue anodized aluminum ones for $3! They match!

It poured on my way to pick mine up today. Just before the car was brought out to me, the sky started clearing up and the sun came out! The salesman laffed and said it usually happens the other way around and rains when the customer takes the car!

Which slide out bracket did you get? I got the motorized version and will be putting it on in the next few days.
