I just found out the assembly line will be down until Jan 14th due to retooling. All the cars on the assembly line on the Dec 21st, will remain there until the the line starts back up on Jan 14th.
Look on the bright side, at least your car is not sitting at Ramp 51 in the cold and snow.

Does the shutdown have any effect on cars waiting to be shipped? Mine has just sat forever it seems, ETA up until 12/21 was 12/22, yet still sitting there... Like you said, it's out in the cold and snow, I'd rather it not been built yet if it was just going to sit for so long in this weather!
I know Deysha said it would ship soon, but I have no idea what soon means!
Oh well, what can ya do but wait?

It's here!
I took delivery of my new Deep Impact Blue GT500 Convertible just the other evening! Very gingerly drove the car home ~10 miles as it was 33 degrees out and quite slick. I only triggered traction control about 2 dozen times. 
But, wow what a car!
