2013 gt quad exhaust

Well guys with tax return season coming it means new parts for the stang! Lol I'm wanting to make the switch to quad exhaust and I have my eyes set on the magnaflow competition muffler deletes and I'm wondering if anyone with them can give me and idea of the drone I'll get? I have a catted magnaflow x pipe and resonater tips right now so I'm assuming not much more but I just want to be sure before I slap them on that it's not too much. Thanks!

I have Solo's 3" HF cats and Catback on my car now, with quad tips, and I LOVE the sound. Just straight beast when you get on it, but settles into a quiet rumble at speed. No drone.

What brand quads do you have? And wow I wouldn't think that there'd be a huge diffrence from resonators to muffler deletes lol

They haven't updated their site yet, but I'm the only GT with a quad tip from them right now. Youtube them and you'll find some clips of their single tip catback. I can put you in contact with Jeff, their owner and founder, who can get you a catback with the quad tips directly...do you have instagram?

Once laserred posted up photos of his Solo Catback I gave them a call right away. I am not going to lie I love the sound of their exhaust systems and their quality is great but there is something about the Roush exhaust I love.

So I talked to Steve from Solo and he is able to special order those exhaust tips for us if we want them! I'm going to wait until Spring to order all my mods because of this **** Michigan weather, but I will be gettting a GT500 rear diffuser and those Solo quad tips then. Just a thought to help you! Also Steve from Solo and the whole Solo team is some of the best customer service anyone can ask for! Great company!

Hey Laserred are those tips 4in or 3.5 inches? I forgot to ask him.

Dual 4" and the finally design will look a little different/better than mine. The stagger won't be as severe, closer together.

Add me on ig @pmnem and I can send you guys dyno clips and exhaust videos.

Mine was a development unit, so I'm not sure on the final cost. Their 3" single tip Catback is $900 for the whole thing, so if you consider that it's a catback, it's really not bad. I don't see the quad tip version being much more. I'm also running their HF cats and it's amazing. They added 12rwhp and 25lb/ft without a tune. With the tune, I picked up a total peak of 22rwhp and 41lb/ft (I didn't baseline the car before the catback, only stock + catback).

That something I love about the roush is with just axle backs it sounds like long tube headers all the way back, absolutely unreal.

Patrick's setup is amazing!
We were both leaving cars& coffee and I was driving behind him. I had my windows down, and I seriously was only hearing his car when the traffic lights turned green.

I'm running the GT500 quads btw.

thanks man! I wonder what it would sound like on an auto. Without the hf cats, it still sounded really good, but a lot more mellow. I'd say somewhere around the Corsa Sports for loudness. Now, it puts Corsa Extremes and Roushes to shame!

Pffffff, I haven't heard your setup but I'm not too sure about putting the roush to shame. To shame is a long shot

Combined with my AED tune...yup. I've heard Roush stuff in person, it just didn't do it for me. This is a mid muffler setup. It sounds a lot like an 03-04 Cobra or Mach 1 now!

My previous 4.6 had Mac Longtubes, pro chamber with highflow cats, and the pypes mid muffler setup and it doesn't sound nearly as good as the 5.0 with the roush. The roush setup sounds so open I couldn't imagine anything more. The 03-04 cobra with Bassani catted x and borla S is my all time favorite! If your car sounds better than the roush I gotta hear it! Any clips?

You have instagram? I have some on there, haven't uploaded to YouTube - I tried, it went to 100% and failed.

I had Bassani catted X and catback on my 03 GT - this sounds similar, but combined with the bark of Stingers and a slightly hollow sound with the mid muffler (similar to Prochamber). I've heard the Roush in person, and I had muffler deletes to start. This tops them all!
