Makes me wish I would have had a extra 10 Grand.. But I will be very very happy with what I ordered. Except for the SVT Cobra and the 2010-> GT's the 2011 and up V6 have more HP then the past GT's and I can def live with that plus all the other new features..

He's totally right that it takes a little bit of driving for the car to really grow on you. A lot of my friends drive JDM/European stuff and have not been too impressed by the 5.0 at first drive... but after they get more seat time with it and learn the car some more they can begin to appreciate it.

I always tell my 370Z friends that they're going to hate it at first... but after they spend some time with it they're going to love it.

I've had the same effect on friends who dismissed the Mustang as a low tech brute. After some quality seat time in one, they realize the potential.

Seeing and hearing about the Recaros and Track Pack stuff keep making me look over the numbers and consider whether I should trade mine in and get the newer car. From a cost standpoint, to get the things I want on an '11 will cost me a pretty penny and offer no warranty, where a new car would be covered. I swore I would keep the '11 for a while, but it's hard not to sway.

It certainly is a little brutish, but it's fast. Dynamics are pretty good. Very well balanced chassis. No excessive understeer or oversteer... pretty neutral. It rotates really well. Lots of areas to improve but it's still a very fun car to drive, albeit difficult at the limit. It's not like a 370Z or S2000 which is more of a point-and-shoot precision machine. Totally different animal. Very capable, very fun!

Once you get used to the body movement and the weight you really get a feel for what the car can do. It's a little deceptive because when you feel like you're at about the limits for the car, you can push even harder. It just takes it. Took me a while to get used to that. Now, with my setup, it's a monster.

Im seriously jealous of the seats and the data flow available in the '13s. Otherwise, sounds like each review of these cars shows no performance improvement.

When did the shift action become a problem? Last year the magazines raved about the same trans in the Boss.

Great vid! I just don't get why they keep referring to it as a "Laguna Seca" on a budget when none of the pieces mentioned are LS specific and can also be found on a normal Boss 302. Still a great review though.

I will seriously consider a 2014 depending what they do to the 2015. I also swore I would keep my 2011 a while but all this new stuff on the 13's-14's is very tempting. If they don't ruin the 2015 I will take a hard look at that.

The Recaro seats alone are worth the upgrade to a '13. If you could only pick one option on the car, the Recaros would be my choice.

-FRPP Recaro seats: $2995
-FRPP Boss Radiator: $770
-FRPP Boss Oil Cooler: $170
-FRPP Torsen Diff: $1030
-FRPP Diff Cover: $160
TOTAL = $5115

OR

-Recaro seat package: $1595

I think you can do better on the prices if you look around a bit . I got my OEM Boss 302 radiator for $500 dollars. The oil cooler was $139 and the torsen diff was $758 .I also got the diff . cover $129 and the vented Boss 302 disk brake dust shields for $60. That comes to $1586 dollars .Where you get screw is the seats if you want them .If you take that $1586 and add it to my MSRP ( i paid less than that) of 32,585 for my 2011 300A GT , Brembos , 3:73 gears it comes out to $34,171. When I keep looking at what i got into my 2011 300A GT to me it make more sence to keep it .
The real game changer is if you need to have the seats ,3K for the seats is not cheap. Now that I am old and fat the stock seat in my 300A gt are working realy good for me .If i was younger i be wanting the recaro seats to . I love the ones i had in my EVO 8 .

I know I can find cheaper prices, but I chose to use MSRP to illustrate the point better. You could probably cut 20% off the total for the parts to get a better idea of what to pay.

You'd still have to replace the suspension.

Real good vid but the driver sells the car and himself short by not understanding you've got to let the centering spring take you to 3rd's gate.

Been wondering what the possibility and cost would be of having my 401A drivers seat torn down and bolstered.

Love the look, feel when not driving under duress, and adjustment features, especially on longer trips.
