The rear end looks good except for glossy decklid and tailight black out. The front of the car has got to go, all the good work ford did to thin out the '10-'12 front profile has become even fatter and cumbersome than the'05-'09 cars. Well the '15 remake will be ready for me when my car is paid off.

Nothing against the Boss in general, but I have to come out and say I just don't like the non-LS Boss wheels (as in the photos in the O.P.). They look like wagon wheels to me. Thanks to the offset they have a narrow look too. The only thing redeeming about them to me is that they at least have a polished lip. Sorry, just not feeling it for the Boss wheels. The LS Boss wheels, when they aren't painted red, look mighty fine OTOH.

Nice, looks like I'm in for a set of those as well if I get the Boss.

^ this exactly, the LS wheels look good on the 13's, reg boss wheels remind me of a golf-cart on it..

Obviously, the standard Boss wheel takes inspiration from the Minilite-style wheels used on the original Boss race cars

However, I do agree they do look a little "lost" in the wheel wells. I think Saleen got the look and stance right with the PJ.

Agree. Why Ford has them come with those awfully tall OEM springs, I have NO idea. We all have to waste money to do a spring mod.

I have to agree with this too... see my comment below to 5 DOT 0's boss

Now THIS is sexy. I love the 2012 look, boss and GT. The black trim completes the look. The painted trim just looks cheap...IMHO. Like some ricer kit you see imports with. And those wheels... ohhhh those wheels. What year SVT rims are those from???

Sure. It's mostly the way that (to me) they look like they are flat. Like they have no/very little "dish"/depth to them. Like they are 6" wide (of course we know they aren't but to me that's the appearance).

I know, here I am rocking base 18" wheels, so I have no room to judge. But I at least like how they look even though they are only 18x8s.

Ah, got ya. Yeah, compared to the wheels on the PJ/Saleen 302, they definitely have less depth. Those wheels in the photo posted Twin Turbo are very nice.

There are requirements for managing the movement of the rear end when you are weighted down with 4 passengers or stuff in the trunk. It's not a nice sound when you bottom out the springs over a sharp bump with "junk in the trunk"

That said, these wheel gaps look much less 4x4ish if you compare against the stock Mustang GT height from the 1999-2004 days.

The change in ride height does look nice with what you've done to your vehicle.

Thank you. Those are the Ford Racing version of the wheels in 19x9 and 19x10.

Congratulations to Ford for making the 2013 look like a much more expensive and sophisticated car than the 2012. Now change the wheels but doesn't everybody do that anyways?

yep stock mustangs usually sit high, been that way for years, just have to change the springs.

that's one thing my brother never liked about fords, he had a bunch of firebirds which are the exact opposite,
youre practically sitting on the floor

Thank you TT. I've been thinking this all along. I agree with Double E dad that there was no reason to make these minilite style wheels like they did. The LS style wheels have a slight dish to them, as do the SVT style wheels. So WHY on EARTH did they ruin that with these wheels? Even the Shelby CS56 wheels do a better job of looking like the minilites than these do. I am so torn about how I feel seeing these on the 2013. I want to love these wheels as I am a sucker for new vintage but I just wish they had done the wheels justice. I feel the same way about the 2012. I just don't know. For now the 2013 Boss is more my favorite as it looks more like a finished car.
