2012 Navigation Dimensions and console questions

Hi guys, had some questions come to mind I wanted to reflect it on you

1.I'd like to know what the measurements for the screen is so I can have a custom zagg shield made
2. Is SYNCmyride.com only for US? there isn't seem to be one for canada. I want to set up my account before the car gets here (have my vin woohoo). Will I find Canada map updates on there if I register? I'd hate to register then find out theres one for canada but can't use the VIN twice.
3. The center console for 2010+, is it made of soft puffy leather? for those that had 05-09 stangs the center console is a pain in the butt due to scratching easily with invisible stuff. It is hard plastic, and boy those coat zippers sure do a number on it!
4. also about the center consoles, how do protect the metal lid release button from scratches?

thanks guys

Lexard already makes a precut screen protector for the car. I have one and it works awesome.

Amazon.com: Lexerd - 2010 Ford Mustang TrueVue Crystal Clear Navigation Screen Protector: Automotive Amazon.com: Lexerd - 2010 Ford Mustang TrueVue Crystal Clear Navigation Screen Protector: Automotive

I doubt you're gonna scratch the console release. I do not know of a way to protect it, but I havent scratched mine at all yet. Looks brand new.

Thanks guys! Didnt known they made protectors for the nav screen!

Yesterday I met a guy who drove a white 2012 conv gt and about the center console he said apart from the sides that feel like leather, the top is still hard plastic if I'm not careful that and the manual stick bezel (chrome) could scratch also

Do you drive with spiked gauntlets on or something?

Just drive the care normally and it'll be fine. Lol don't worry so much about the little things.

LOL ... I worry about the outside .. not the inside. Door Dings, Paint Chips, scratches and swirl marks ....

My center console latch has a few small scratches in it. I'm left handed and wear my watch on my right, so the clasp scratches it if I'm not careful.

Good call on not creating two accounts, that can be a headache. I know we've chatted via PM, but like LLZuB said, SyncMyRide.com is for everyone. Map updates are available through a 3rd party supplier, Navteq.

I hate when people tell me that I have my watch on the "wrong" hand.
I point out that I literally have it on the right hand.
