2012 GT Brembo WheelProblem

At around 1-2mph, I touched a curb at the bank and scraped the very outer portion of the wheel taking some paint off. Wheel is not bent. Did a quick search for similiar problem fix . . . no luck.

Short of repainting the wheel, any touch up suggestions?

Also, outer rim of a couple of wheels are turning color. Any suggestions?

Do a search for mobile wheel repair in your area. Shouldn't cost more than $150 to fix...your price will vary.

That looks extremly minor...I wouldnt lose sleep over it.

Not the answer to your question but it's the best solution, IMO.

If you really want to fix it on the cheap.... dismount the wheel and very carefully file the damage smooth - this will make it blend better. Then get silver touch up paint pen from the auto store or maybe even a silver sharpie (?)

However, as for the wheels turning color, that might require re-spray....never seen that before.

Stuff like that can be made presentable with a little sandpaper some matching or near matching paint. The trick is to be careful so only the damaged area gets touched with the sand paper. Masking the nearby good paint helps.

I don't know what a matching paint is for the brembo wheels. When I touched up my '98 cobra wheels I just brought one into the autoparts store with me (I have 6 of them between summer and winter tires) and went through the silvers until I found one that matched well.
