2012 Grabber Blue leftover!!!

Hope it's OK to post this. There's a dealer in NW NJ who's got a 2012 leftover Grabber Blue GT Premium convertible 6 speed for sale at an amazing price.

I have no affiliation with the store...didn't even buy my GT there, but wanted to pass this along.

Write to me for info.

Tom

Could you post a link or a price?? How many miles on it? Makes a difference if a salesman put 5,000 miles on it or it is actually a new car with 10 miles on it.

They have it advertised on Car Gurus site for $33,900. It shows less than 50 miles, but I put on another 25 or so when I test drove it. It's been on their lot since at least 2012, never been titled.

They also added a/m vinyl stripes on the top and rockers. It has the 401A...Charcoal Black/Cashmere I think, Comfort Package, and a stick.

No issues as far as I could tell.

Good luck....I wasn't crazy about GB, and I wanted a 2014 besides.

Nice looking car. Can't understand why it hasn't sold.

Nearly $34k is too much when you can get a new '15 GT for that money. I know the new one wouldn't be a 'vert but the pricing is too close for 3 model years. Let's face it, you bring that '12 Mustang back to the dealership in just one year with about 12,000 miles on it and they might give you $27,000 as a trade-in. OUCH!! $7,000 for one year's use. Actually the value will be even less one year from now when the new figures come out. It could be an $8k or $9k hit. Maybe there is still room for some negotiations in that $34k price. A $31k price would be sweet, with not as much financial risk if the need came to sell. I know that's true with any 'new' car but a 3 year old model needs special pricing and that's why it is still sitting on the lot. Here's the trade-in link for a clean trade-in. $27k was for my zip code with the appropriate options like power seats, etc... http://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2012/...e-2D-GT/Values

I only put the post out there for info purposes in case someone was shy on cash for a 2014/2014 convertible. I'm sure the price is negotiable with the dealer. It's been costing him a small fortune to keep that car on the lot for so long. I actually considered it myself but realized I wanted a '14 'vert. Besides, Grabber Blue in my personal opinion looks killer on a coupe, but I'm not so crazy about GB on a drop top.

Hopefully someone who wants a GT convertible with a stick for less than a current model year might consider it.

This is how I got a deal on my present car...I bought a 1992 car (non Mustang) in October 1993 that had been there since December 1991!

With mine, it was the wrong combo of options (a special order that the guy backed out of). They added stripes to it to sell it, like they did with this one.

Back then, they were asking 18K, it stickered at 21K, and I got it for 15K. And I still have it.

I don't see 34k an amazing price? I don't even see $24k as an amazing price on a car that's three model years old and been sitting in a lot for the entire time. $20k would be an almost amazing price.

Actually the Car gurus add says its a One owner with remainder of factory warranty...its been on Car Gurus 522 days? Maybe it was damaged somehow? My car smacked a deer, Insurance called it Comprehensive loss, and it never showed on Carfax as a collision repair, even with 3k in damage and a repaint.
