2012 Boss Mustang steering wheel

I read that the 2012 Boss mustang has a basic stereo and not a shaker stereo. The Boss mustang steering wheel has audio controls. Will the Boss steering wheel work on a 2011 basic non shaker mustang and also control the stereo via the steering wheel controls?

If the controls are the same then it should work fine.

Is the 2012 Boss steering wheel available? If so, who sells it and where can it be found? What is the cost?

wheel and seat

Yes, what is the best way to buy the Boss steering wheel and the Boss seats also. Other than buying a Boss of course.

don't think the part numbers have been discovered yet. Best bet is to watch the boss forum thread that's stickied at top about the parts.

2012 boss 302 steering wheel

I just installed the boss 302 steering wheel on my base non shaker 2011 v6 mustang. The volume/radio controls do not work as hoped.

Ford must use the shaker head unit without the shaker labeling to make the controls work, go figure?

Also the ford part number is cr3z-3600-aa @ $143.73 toulsey ford

How to you like the steering wheel? For $143 it might be nice to swap it into a premium car ... that is if you can swap the sync buttons to the Boss wheel.

FWIW the buttons work on that fleet option wheel as well. So I am positive there is a variation of the base stereo that has a connector for steering wheel controls OR the regular base radio has a plug for some adapter that nobody has noticed.

I have a base car as well. Was wondering if the harness is the same and if its a simple swap? Just ordered one from Tousley. Thanks
